About Me
Paul Sagoo was born in London to parents who migrated from India with little to their name.
After obtaining a degree from Kings College London he entered the world of IT with his first role at Viglen PLC, a computer business owned by Lord Sugar. Here he learned about the commercial reality of business, customer engagement and service.
Following his time at Viglen, Paul went on to work for companies such as Intel, Microsoft, Siemens and Computer Associates.
It was after his first turnaround role at the company Energis, which was later sold to Cable and Wireless, that Paul decided to become independant and start consulting for companies looking for a change in their business strategy from a commercial perspective.
Whilst consulting, Paul advised, set up and invested in many start-ups and small businesses and in some instances, as compensation, took shareholdings in them. They became the portfolio of shareholdings which he now owns.
He is the founder and Director of Lemon Group International Ltd, a UK-based investment company. Paul is also trustee of I Love Love a UK registered charity and is also a Rotarian.
Paul is also co-founder of The Asian Awards, a joint venture with United Business Media which focusses on awarding the worlds best south Asians across a multitude of disciplines.
Today, Paul consults to businesses across the globe often with a hands on approach and is still active in a number of the portfolio companies such as Lemon Interactive and Trend Mobile.
Paul is available to work with companies who are looking for strategic commercial change in terms of growth, acquisition, mergers and turnaround.
