Two silhouettes on the bench now — a thin eight-sided frame and a true circle, both cut from the same Japanese acetate. The list sees them first, and prices are set when they leave the bench.

Chapter II — The Atelier

Tinted to order,

Touch a shade. The lenses change — and so does the light they throw.

Chapter III — The Finishing

Every pair,
a commission.

Nothing is taken from a shelf. Your frame is assembled, tinted, glazed and marked after you order it.

Open now: frames in every colourway, plano and tinted, made to order. Opening next: prescription glazing, and payment on the site. Until then you build the specification here and the house confirms it, and the price, by email.

Chapter V — The Cases

The
Coffret.

Coffret — French for the little chest a jeweller trusts with what matters. A true miniature trunk: a rigid wooden carcass, hand-wrapped in vegan leather printed with the radial in complete spectrum, ring by ring, so no two panels ever sit quite the same. It closes with a single PS clasp in solid polished brass — one button, the monogram itself, machined by hand — under brass studs and mitred brass corners. Inside, soft lining the colour of the house; underneath, your edition number stamped in gold foil. Entirely vegan. Every material in it — wood, brass, leather — recyclable, made to be remade.

It carries three ways: the wide PS-embossed shoulder strap, the slim crossbody strap, or bare, in the hand, as a minaudière. A pair of frames rides inside — though nobody will blame you for carrying nothing in it at all.

How it is made

Every piece,
one bench.

The stitch

Real footage from the bench. Every seam is run one panel at a time, the operator turning the piece by hand through the corners — the only way the radial lands true where two panels meet.

The cloth

Real footage from the cutting floor. Every panel is struck from the full width in one pass, so the grain runs the same way on each face of the piece.

The PS clasp on the Coffret Azur released, showing the plate, swing bar, side catches and lock

The clasp

The PS clasp starts as solid brass stock, held in the vice, filed and polished by hand until the monogram reads clean. Released, the whole mechanism shows: the plate, the swing bar, the two side catches and the lock beneath.

Mitred brass corner cap, side catch and studs on the Coffret Azur

The brass

Mitred brass caps at every corner, brass studs along the band. The hardware takes the wear, so the vegan leather does not.

The radial in pink running across the white vegan leather of the Coffret Blanc

The radial

The radial is printed into the vegan leather ring by ring, in complete spectrum, and set out from the centre of the panel so the pattern lands true where two panels meet.

The monogram embossed across the tan lining of the Coffret Python print

The lining

Inside, the monogram repeats across the full lining. Nothing is left plain, including the parts only the owner ever sees.

The Bomber Noir — full-spectrum radial, gold PS zip The Bomber Noir, worn open, the PS zip in gold The Bomber Blanc, worn with the white Square The Bomber Blanc at dusk with the Square

From the Atelier

The radial,
worn.

The Bomber carries the full-spectrum radial front and back — in noir or blanc, cut in ones and twos, never in runs. Even the zip is ours: a solid gold PS pull, machined with the monogram, on silvered tape. Worn with the Coffret, it's a uniform. Atelier pieces are offered to the correspondence list first.

A Small Ritual

Spin for your
colour.

Can't choose from infinite? Let the wheel choose. Spin the radial — whatever shade it offers is yours to try.

The Monogram

The mark is
a maze.

The Grey has drained the world. Sweep the colour back, corridor by corridor — every drop you take repaints the maze. But the Grey walks the corridors after you, and the sky is thick with saucers, planes, helicopters and worse. Gold orbs turn the hunt around: while one burns, everything runs from you and everything is worth points. Three mazes, three lives, and it gets faster every time. Sound on — 1 for sound, 2 for silence. Arrows, WASD, or swipe.

Five cabinets, sound on. In The Duel, type PAUL or SAGOO when the meter is full

Chapter VI — The Craft

Gold, where
it matters.

Japanese acetate, cut deliberately thick — you feel the difference the moment you pick a pair up. Milled and hand-finished in Bangkok. Gold hinges, the PS signature in gold on every front, and your number laser-written inside the temple — where only you will find it.

The PS pattern down the temple of the Square, and the gold PS mark

The pattern, engraved · PS001/B

The gold PS mark set into the temple of the Aviator

The mark

Every frame is checked against its drawing by hand before it earns a number. If it drifts a tenth of a millimetre from the plan, it never leaves the bench. The gold PS mark is the last thing to go on.

The PS pattern cut into the temple of the Square

Cut, not moulded

Milled from solid Japanese acetate — never injected, never rushed — then tumbled and hand-polished for days until the surface holds light like glass. The PS pattern is cut into the temple, repeating the full length of it.
