1. Who you are contracting with
LEMON GROUP INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, trading as PAUL SAGOO. Registered in England and Wales, company number 05807099. Correspondence: the contact page. PAUL SAGOO® is a registered UK trade mark, number UK00004009291. In these terms “the house”, “we” and “us” mean Lemon Group International Limited, and “you” means the person placing an order or reserving a number.
2. Editions and numbering
Every product the house makes is produced as an edition of thirty-five pieces. Each piece is individually numbered and that number is recorded against your certificate. When an edition is complete it is not reissued in the same specification.
Where a page shows how many numbers remain in an edition, that figure is drawn from the live reservation record. If a figure is ever shown that we know to be out of date, we will say so on the page.
3. Orders while a piece is waitlisted
Every piece is currently waitlisted, and you can place an order for any of them now. Placing an order costs nothing. It records the piece and build you chose and, if you choose one, the number you would like, and it holds your place in the queue in the order orders arrive.
- We acknowledge every order by email within two working days.
- When your piece is ready to make, we write to confirm the final price, your number and the delivery date. A contract is formed only when you accept that confirmation and pay. Until then neither of us is bound.
- A number you ask for is a request, not a hold. We confirm it with you before anything is made or paid for.
- You can change or cancel an order at any time before you pay, by writing to hello@paulsagoo.com. There is no charge.
4. Your right to cancel
Because you are buying at a distance, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. This is in addition to the returns policy set out on the returns page, which is more generous.
The one exception in law is goods made to your personal specification. Prescription lenses glazed to your own prescription are made to your specification and are not covered by the statutory 14‑day right. We nonetheless offer our own remedy for those, set out on the returns page — you are not left without recourse.
To cancel, write to us through the contact page. You do not need to use a particular form of words.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and are charged as shown, wherever you order from. Duties and import taxes on orders outside the United Kingdom are set out on the shipping and duties page.
We take payment only when you accept our confirmation of your order. Nothing is taken when you place it.
6. Making and delivery
Nothing is taken from a shelf. Frames are assembled, tinted, glazed and marked after you order, so a lead time applies to every order and is shown before you commit. Delivery timescales are on the shipping page.
7. The lifetime repair undertaking
Every numbered piece carries a lifetime repair undertaking. It is held against the piece’s number rather than against the person who bought it, so it travels with the piece. The full terms are on the warranty page.
8. Verification
Each piece ships with a certificate carrying its number and a code under a scratch panel. Entering the two on the verification page checks that the number and the code agree.
What that check does and does not prove. Until the house register is live, the check runs on your own device and confirms only that the pair is internally consistent. It is shown to you as provisional and is not, on its own, proof that a piece is genuine. Registration against your name, and the once-only claim on a code, are completed by the house when we receive your verification — we will write to you to confirm it. If you are buying second-hand, ask the seller for a completed registration rather than relying on the on-screen check.
9. Using this site
The content of this site, including the PS monogram, the radial, all photography and all copy, belongs to the house or its licensors. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission.
10. If something goes wrong
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you have statutory remedies and we will honour them.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
